Kathryn C. Kemp
Ph.D. in progress M.S. 2019 Kathryn (Katie) is a sixth-year graduate student in UIUC’s Clinical/Community Psychology program. After receiving her B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Katie worked as a lab manager in the Schizophrenia and Social Cognition lab at the University of Texas at Dallas. Her research currently focuses on the expression of multidimensional schizotypy, with a particular emphasis on temporal dynamics of schizotypic experiences in daily life. Katie will start her pre-doctoral internship at the Early Psychosis Intervention Center (EPICENTER) at Ohio State University in summer 2023. |
Talia Berson
Ph.D. in progress M.S. 2020 Talia is a fifth-year doctoral student in the Clinical/Community Psychology program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her BA from University of California, Los Angeles where she conducted research in psychiatry and behavioral sciences. After graduating, she served as Clinical Research Coordinator for the Dr. Elliott Sherr's Brain Development Research Program within pediatric neurology at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. Her research focuses on conceptualization and assessment of bipolar psychopathology. Talia will start her pre-doctoral internship at the San Diego VA Medical Center in summer 2023. |
Laura Hernández
Ph.D. in progress M.S. in progress Laura is an entering first-year doctoral student in the Clinical/Community Psychology program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her B.Sc. in Psychology with a minor in Criminology, Law and Society from UIUC. After graduating, she worked as a post-baccalaureate researcher and lab manager for the PLE Lab at UIUC. Her research focuses on the expression of multidimensional schizotypy with an emphasis on conceptualizing and assessing disorganized schizotypy. She is also interested in examining risk and resilience in non-binary young adults. |
Alysia Berglund
Ph.D. in progress M.S. in progress Alysia is an entering first-year doctoral student in the Clinical/Community Psychology program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her B.A. in psychology from the University of Hawai‘i in 2019 where she worked with Prof. David Cicero. After graduation, she was lab manager and research coordinator for Dr. Gregory Strauss at the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on examining negative schizotypy and emotion, including the use of experience sampling methodology. |
